WEST COLUMBIA,SC (WACH)- A West Columbia man is under arrest for sending obscene material to a minor.

Attorney General Alan Wilson said Joshua N. Williams, 20 of West Columbia is charged with disseminating obscene material to a minor.

Wilson said between October and December 2012, Williams sent obscene material to  a 13-year-old girl.  Williams and the girl met on an online dating website.  The girl said she met Williams on that site.  They continued to chat on the site and via text messages.  Both Williams and the victim sent each other nude photos.  Both the victim and Williams turned the photos over to Lexington County Law Enforcement.

The Attorney General's office will prosecute the case.
