ORANGEBURG, SC (WACH) - A Berkeley County man is charged in the September 2012 murder of a Holly Hill man.

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says Kenneth Campbell, Jr., 22, is accused of shooting and killing Richard Davis at Davis' home on September 24, 2012 during an attempted robbery.

"We are grateful to bring closure to the victim’s family that the man that was responsible for ending their loved one’s life has been brought to justice," said Ravenell.

Ravenell says the arrest is the result of an extensive investigation.
