COLUMBIA (WACH) - Firefighters with the Columbia Fire Department are working a fire at a Columbia apartment complex.

Columbia Fire Department spokesperson Brick Lewis says fire units were dispatched around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday to a working apartment fire at the Arbor Woods apartment complex on Percival Road.

Officials with the Red Cross say volunteers responded to the scene to work with residents affected by the blaze and meet the basic immediate needs resulting from the apartment fire.

Authorities say six units were affected and five of the six were occupied.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
