Sumter man found shot to death, police looking for suspect

SUMTER, S.C. (WACH) -- One man is dead after a shooting just after midnight Sunday morning.

Police arriving at the intersection of Dingle and Wright Streets found 33-year-old Mario Carrbarus Scott dead on the side of the roadway. Scott had gunshot wounds to the chest and back.

Police have not found a suspect. Detectives are interviewing witnesses and piecing together information surrounding the shooting.
