COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- The Richland County coroner says a Columbia tattoo parlor owner shot himself in the head after asking two other people if they wanted to play Russian roulette.

Coroner Gary Watts said 42-year-old Mannon Turner died around noon Tuesday in his shop in Columbia's Five Points bar and restaurant district.

Investigators say Turner walked into his shop with a gun and unloaded all but one bullet after asking the people inside to play Russian Roulette with him.

Authorities say Turner then spun the chamber, put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger, shooting himself in the head.

Columbia police are still investigating the incident, and Watts says he has not decided whether to rule Turner's death an accident or a suicide.
