LEXINGTON, S.C. (WACH) -- The State Highway Patrol is looking for a suspect who is responsible for a deadly hit-and-run.

The incident happened around 6 0' clock Saturday evening at the intersection of Highway 1 and Oak Drive.

According Lance Corporal Brent Kelly, a pedestrian was crossing the street when a vehicle that was heading in the wrong direction hit the man.

Lexington County Coroner Harry O. Harman identified the pedestrian as Aaron Tyrone McGlon, 48, of Lexington. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses say that the driver was driving an older model Cadillac and was last seen heading toward West Columbia.

Officials say a vehicle of interest has been identified as a light color late 1990's model Cadillac De Ville with slim tail lights.
