CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- The remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl are forecast to move northeastward out of Georgia, skimming the South Carolina coast before heading out to sea.
The storm which made landfall near Jacksonville, Fla., early Monday is now a tropical depression. The center of circulation is expected to be near South Carolina's south coast by Tuesday evening and pass by overnight.

Forecasters say Beryl could regain tropical storm strength as it heads away the coast late Wednesday and heads out to sea.
