Grains futures mostly rise; livestock prices drop

CHICAGO (AP) — Most grain futures mostly rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery slipped 1 cents to $7.1725 a bushel; December corn gained 3 cents to $5.82 a bushel; December oats rose 2 cents to $3.68 a bushel; and soybeans for November delivery added 1 cent to $12.26 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 0.45 cent to 98.82 cents a pound; November feeder cattle lost 0.63 cent to $1.1032 a pound; December lean hogs dropped 0.85 cent to 66.20 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.04 a pound.
