A fast-moving storm system looks to dump a lot of rain onto the Midlands Friday. It's important to note that a rain/sleet mix is possible for some parts of the Midlands. The good news is that no accumulation would occur from any brief mix that may occur. Travel conditions will only be affected by gusty winds and rain for the Midlands Friday. The SkyWACH Weather Team is on top of the situation and monitoring any developing changes to the weather system. Areas most likely to see any brief rain/sleet mix would be in the far northern and western counties. It appears that Lancaster is the closest county to the Midlands that would experience adverse conditions.
