Tuesday, January 10, 2012  For the first time in school history, the University of South Carolina football team finished the season ranked among the nation's Top-10 teams.

Monday, October 10, 2011  USC jumped three notches in the Associated Press poll to number 15 in the country. In the USA Today/ Coaches poll, USC moved up one slot to number 13.

Sunday, October 02, 2011  The Gamecocks tumbled in both national polls after losing to previously unranked Auburn 16-13 on Saturday, meantime the Tigers cracked the top 10.

Monday, September 19, 2011  South Carolina fell from 10th to 12th in the latest Associated Press poll released Sunday, however, USC moved up in the USA Today Coaches Poll from 11th to 10th.

Tuesday, September 06, 2011  Both the Associated Press and the USA Today Coaches' poll were released Tuesday putting the USC football team just outside the top ten.  Oklahoma ranks at the top of the list followed by LSU and Alabama.

Thursday, August 04, 2011  Fresh off the program's first-ever SEC East title the University of South Carolina football team is getting some preseason praise in the polls. The USA Today Coaches Poll rates the Gamecocks 12th in the nation.
