COLUMBIA (WACH) -Coach Steve Spurrier said Thursday that quarterback Connor Shaw will play in Saturday's SEC game against Florida.  Shaw was knocked out of the Gamecocks' last contest when he was sacked by Jake Bequette of Arkansas.

According to USC, defensive players Antonio Allen, D.J. Swearinger and C.C. Whitlock are expected to play against the Gators.  They have been nursing injuries.

However, defensive back Devonte Holloman remains doubtful with a concussion.

The Gamecocks and Gators play Saturday at noon on CBS.
