Clemson up to 9th in BCS, Gamecocks 13th

Without playing a game Saturday, the Clemson Tigers moved up in the BCS standings.

Clemson is ranked 9th in the new standings, which were released on Sunday evening.  The Tigers return to action Saturday after a two-week layoff, when they play Wake Forest with a chance to clinch the ACC Atlantic Division title (noon, ESPNU).

South Carolina falls to 13th in the BCS following its loss to Arkansas.  USC hosts Florida Saturday (noon, CBS).

LSU tops the rankings, followed by Oklahoma State, Alabama, Stanford and Boise State.
