WACH (COLUMBIA) -  The Gamecock basketball team suffered a 67-58 loss to the Kentucky Wildcats (15-4, 3-2 SEC) on Saturday night.

The win was Kentucky's first victory at the Colonial Life Arena in three years.

Kentucky's Brandon Knight contributed 23 points in the Wildcats first conference win on the road this season.

Sam Muldrow had a career-best 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Gamecocks (12-5, 3-2).

South Carolina returns to action at Colonial Life Arena on Saturday at 1:30 PM against Auburn.
