CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson linebacker Corrico Hawkins still isn't sure what happened last December: How could a Tigers defense that forced six Georgia Tech punts earlier in the season not stop the Yellow Jackets when it counted in the Atlantic Coast Conference title game.
For Georgia Tech's triple option attack, the answer's usually as simple as one, two, three. The Yellow Jackets proved that last fall with an 86-yard, 13-play drive for the winning touchdown in a 39-34 victory over the Tigers for the ACC championship.
Hawkins says the Tigers (3-3, 1-2 ACC) must remain patient and focused on their assignments throughout to contain the Yellow Jackets (5-2, 3-1) when the teams meet at Death Valley on Saturday.
