The Gamecocks used a 7 run second inning to get past Ole Miss Saturday 9-5.

With the Gamecocks leading 2-1 in the 2nd inning, Christian Walker smacked a Grand Slam on the first pitch he saw to center field.  Adam Matthews, Bobby Haney and Scott Wingo scored.

The Gamecocks tacked on an additional run in the 5th when Adrian Morales stole home on a Bobby Haney strikeout.  Haney was able to draw a throw out of the Ole Miss catcher.

USC also got 6 solid innings out of starter Sam Dyson, who improved to 3-2 on the season.
