CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says his Tigers got back to the practice field Tuesday fully focused on beating Kentucky at the Music City Bowl later this month.
The Tigers (8-5) have lost their last two games. They were beaten 34-17 by rival South Carolina on Nov. 28, then lost to Georgia Tech 39-34 in the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game Dec. 5.
But Swinney says the players looked crisp and hungry for action in the opening bowl workouts.
Fullback Rendrick Taylor is the only Tiger who's been part of a bowl victory, the last one left from the team that beat Colorado 19-10 in the 2005 Champs Sports Bowl.
Clemson has lost its past three bowl games, including one to Kentucky at the Music City Bowl in 2006.
