Clemson's Spiller named Walker award finalist

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson's C.J. Spiller is among three finalists for the Doak Walker Award.
The school announced Monday that the senior running back would join Alabama's Mark Ingram and Stanford's Toby Gerhart as finalists. The award goes to the country's top running back.
Spiller is Clemson's first running back to be a Walker finalist.
The 15th-ranked Tigers close the regular season against South Carolina on Saturday.
