South Carolina (12-4, 1-2 SEC) looks to break a two-game losing skid when it hosts No. 24 Florida (16-2, 3-0 SEC) on Wednesday night at the Colonial Life Arena. The game marks the first of three consecutive home Southeastern Conference games for the Gamecocks before playing four of their next five matchups on the road.
The Gators enter the game riding a 10-game winning streak, including a 3-0 mark in conference play. They have also won 5 straight games against South Carolina.
The meeting with Florida is just the second time head USC coach Darrin Horn will face Florida. His Western Kentucky squad suffered a 101-68 loss to the Gators during Floridas 2006-07 national championship run.
