Columbia, SC (WACH)--Gamecock fans that could not make the trip to Tampa to watch the team beat Michigan 33-28 still were rowdy, loud and proud Tuesday.

Hundreds of fans came to the Beef O'Brady's on Hard Scrabble Road in Columbia to watch the game. The scene included speakers playing Sandstorm, and towels waving. Brothers Ken and William Turner; who attended USC in the late 1980's and were band members, brought their instruments and played the USC fight song after each touchdown.

"It is one thing to hear the fight song on a CD or something," Ken said. "But it is another thing to hear it live even with a couple of musicians. We really enjoy doing that."

"I really feel like our defense can really take over the game and control their offense," William said. "I think we will have enough offense to pull out a victory."

"I've been a Gamecock fan for the past 20 years," Shane Johnson said. "(Jadeveon) Clowney and all of them are playing good ball and thoroughly enjoying the game."

Surprisingly, there were no Michigan fans in attendance, despite being a powerhouse program.

"We hoped to see some Wolverine fans here so we could rub it in a little bit," Ken said.

Quincy Samuel has been a fan since 1978. He was not surprised at the lack of Michigan support.

"This right here is Gamecock country. We have invaded the place. This is an infestation of Gamecock fans. Gamecocks are number one! Next year, National Championship!"
