COLUMBIA (WACH)- Brenton Williams scored 12 points in overtime to give Frank Martin his first win as head coach of the Gamecocks with an 82-75 win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee Sunday at Colonial Life Arena.

The Gamecocks (1-0, 0-0 SEC) trailed early in the second half by 17, but fought their way back to tie it at 66 to send the game into overtime.  Senior transfer LaShay Page led USC with 19 points, and also got a great effort from freshman Michael Carrera who finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds.

USC will return to action Friday when they host Morgan State. Tip is scheduled for 7:00 P.M.
