COLUMBIA (WACH)- The BCS released its first rankings Sunday night and the Gamecocks are ranked seventh.  USC suffered its first loss of the season Saturday night at LSU, 23-21.

USC (6-1) dropped to ninth in the AP poll, and eighth in the USA Today and Coaches' polls.  The Gamecocks will take on Florida next Saturday in the Swamp.  The game is set for 3:30 P.M. on CBS.

Clemson is ranked 19th in the BCS and are coming off a bye week.
