OMAHA, NE - Sophomore right-hander Forrest Koumas is the Gamecocks' "probable" starter for Game 1 of the College World Series championship series against Arizona, according to a release from the University.

Koumas, who pitched at Lugoff-Elgin High School, is 2-2 with a 4.56 ERA in 17 appearances this season.

The Gamecocks and Wildcats begin their best-of-3 series Sunday at 8 pm eastern time, on ESPN2.  Game 2 is Monday, and if necessary a third game will be played Tuesday.
