JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Fred Taylor's 80-yard touchdown run was the longest run in team history and it came in Jacksonville's 37-6 drubbing of the Carolina Panthers.

Taylor finished with 132 yards on 18 carries as the Jaguars improved to 9-and-4 and moved closer to a playoff spot. His 80-yard scamper is the longest run from scrimmage in the NFL this season.

Carolina is 5-and-8 after losing for the sixth time in seven games.

Panthers quarterback Vinny Testaverde was pressured throughout and finished 13-of-28 for 84 yards. He was picked off by Clint Ingram who returned it 39 yards for a touchdown.
