Georgia rallies to win at Clemson

CLEMSON (WACH) - Georgia's 6-run 5th inning completed a comeback from a 5-0 deficit as the Bulldogs defeated the Clemson Tigers 8-7 Wednesday night.

Georgia improves to 20-13 overall, while Clemson falls to 19-15.

Brandon Stephens drove in three runs for the victorious Bulldogs.  Thomas Brittle led the Tigers with three hits and three RBI.

Patrick Andrews, the second of six Clemson pitchers, took the loss.  He is 0-2.

The Tigers return to action Friday night, opening up a weekend ACC series at home against North Carolina State.
