UNC rallies in extras and sweeps Clemson with 6-5 win

Clemson-- Mike Zolk's two-out single in the top of the 11th inning capped North Carolina's rally as the Tar Heels knocked off Clemson 6-5 to sweep the Tigers.  Clemson falls to 6-7 overall.

The Tigers led 5-2 in the sixth after Jason Stolz drilled his first home run of the season to left field.  UNC rallied in the ninth scoring three runs on just one hit.

Matt Campbell (0-2) took the loss giving up two runs on three hits.  Starter Kevin Pohle went a career-long six innings and allowed just two runs, but failed to earn a decision.

Jon McGibbon led Clemson going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.  Thomas Brittle went 2-for-5 with two RBI.

Clemson hits the road Wednesday when they travel to take on Western Carolina at 4:00 p.m.
