COLUMBIA (WACH) - South Carolina and Connecticut will face each other in a NCAA Super Regional this weekend at Carolina Stadium.
The first game between the Gamecocks and the Huskies will be on Saturday at 6 p.m. and televised on ESPN2.
The second game of the super regional will be on Sunday at 7 p.m. and televised on ESPNU.
If necessary the third game will be on Monday and televised on ESPN2 at either 1, 4 or 7 p.m.
South Carolina is making its ninth NCAA Super Regional appearance in the last 12 years, one of only four schools in the country to have accomplished the feat since the 2000 season.
If the Gamecocks win the Super Regional they'll head back to Omaha for the College World Series.
The 65th College World Series begins play Saturday, June 18, at the new TD Ameritrade Park Omaha.
