A win on Sunday would give Byrd six career wins, more than any other American born PGA player age 33 or younger.

Byrd shot a five under par 67 on Saturday, thanks to a five under par 31 on the back nine on Saturday, inc luding one stretch of five birdies with in six holes.

Glover, who owns two PGA Tour wins, including the 2009 US Open, is at 12 under par after a 69 on
Saturday. He was the only player in the field to go all 18 holes without a bogey.

Byrd and Glover are two of five former Tigers who made the cut at the Wells Fargo Invitational.  Kyle Stanley is at four under, Charles Warren is three under and D.J. Trahan is two underof entering the last round on Sunday.

Two former Tigers are also in the top five entering the final round on the Nationwide Tour.  That event is being held at the University Georgia course in Athens.  Former Clemson All-American Matt Hendrix, a member of Clemson's 2003 National Championship team, is in third place at eight under par, but is just one shot off the lead.  Former Tiger Elliott Gealy is at six under and is in a tie for fourth place entering Sunday.
