Grant, Stitt lead Clemson past Georgia Tech 65-56

ATLANTA (AP) -- Jerai Grant scored 20 points, Demontez Stitt added 16 and Clemson used a 22-0 in the first half to beat reeling Georgia Tech 65-56 on Saturday.

Clemson (16-7, 5-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) has won three of four since dropping consecutive games at North Carolina and Maryland.

Iman Shumpert scored 17 points for the Yellow Jackets (10-12, 3-6), who have lost three straight and four of five.

Over the last four seasons, Georgia Tech is a combined 19-38 in ACC play.

The Tigers overcame 20 turnovers to win their first ACC road game this season in five tries. Andre Young, who finished with 14 points, was 4 for 6 on 3s and Stitt 2 for 2.

After Daniel Miller's layup gave Georgia Tech a 19-8 lead with 9:15 left in the first half, Clemson went on a 22-0 run that ended on Tanner Smith's free throw.
