Braves acquire Uggla

ATLANTA (WACH) - Dan Uggla is being reunited with his old manager. The Braves acquired the All-Star second baseman from the Florida Marlins Tuesday.

Uggla joined the Marlins in 2005 and played for former Florida manager Freddi Gonzalez. Gonzalez took over as the Braves skipper last month.

The Braves sent utility man Omar Infante and pitcher Mike Dunn to Florida in exchange for Uggla. Uggla hit 154 home runs in five seasons with the Marlins.
