CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- New Clemson coach Brad Brownell understands he took over a team that played in the past three NCAA tournaments. He hopes everyone else understands it won't be easy to keep that streak going.
The Tigers got there in large part because of all-ACC forward Trevor Booker, a first-round NBA draft pick last June. Brownell's not sure how Clemson will make up for Booker's 15 points and eight rebounds a game.
He'll start with senior point guard Demontez Stitt, who when healthy is an explosive scorer who can surge past most defenders. Stitt averaged 11 points a game, Clemson's only other player with to score in double figures.
