COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- The University of South Carolina athletics department says it is negotiating an expansion of a previous deal with sportswear company Under Armour.
Athletics director Eric Hyman said at a trustees committee meeting Friday that the new deal would include more of the school's teams and increase the value to $19 million over six years, up from the $10.8 million deal announced three years ago.
A message left for an Under Armour spokesman was not immediately returned Friday.
Trustees also heard about Hyman's goals for the coming year for the department, but there was no discussion of an NCAA investigation of the school's football program.
Hyman said after the meeting the university is cooperating with the NCAA on the investigation.
