COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia's postmaster officially decrees Monday as Gamecock College World Series Champions Day.
You have a chance to get yet another Carolina baseball collectible.
Available on Monday at Columbia's main post office on Assembly Street, you can get a special Gamecock postmark.
It's free on all first class mail and special.
There's also a special collectable envelope for $5 that'll be available.
“Like all Gamecock fans, we’re thrilled with the team’s success at the College World Series,” said Postmaster Jim Antill, “and we wanted to do something to show our appreciation. This is our way of paying tribute to the greatest victory in the history of USC sports.”
If you can't make it to the post office on Monday you can order the collectibles through the mail.
To get yours, send a self addressed, stamped envelope for return to Postmaster, Gamecock Postmark, P.O. Box 69 Columbia SC, 29201-0069. It should be postmarked by August 19.
