NEW YORK CITY -- Four Clemson Tigers were taken in the final day of the NFL draft Saturday.
The Oakland Raiders selected wide receiver Jacoby Ford in the 4th round, 108th pick overall. Ford, who was a track star at Clemson, is the first Tiger to be selected by the Raiders since 1993.
Ford led Clemson in touchdown catches last season.
Defensive End Ricky Sapp went in the 5th round to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bamberg native was the 124th player taken overall in the draft. Sapp led Clemson in sacks last season.
Joining Ford and Sapp in the NFL, is Crezdon Butler, who was taken in the 5th round by the Steelers. Butler started 40 games at cornerback for the Tigers in three seasons.
Kavell Conner, who played linebacker for the Tigers, was taken in the 7th round by the defending AFC Champion Indianapolis Colts.
