CLEMSON (AP) -- Former Clemson stars C.J. Spiller and Jacoby Ford have passed up the opportunity to run at the school's pro timing day.

Scouts from most NFL teams were at Clemson on Thursday to watch the former Tigers go through various drills as they prepare for next month's draft.

Spiller and Ford posted two of the fastest times at last month's NFL combine in Indianapolis. Ford was a standout receiver who posted a 4.28 second time in the 40-yard dash. Spiller, the ACC player of the year, ran a 4.37.

Carolina Panthers coach John Fox was among those attending the session.
