Gamecocks knock off #13 Vanderbilt

NASHVILLE, TN. -- The Gamecock basketball team snapped a 6 game losing streak with a 77-73 upset win over number 13 Vanderbilt.  Devan Downey scored 26 points for the Gamecocks, who face Alabama in the opening round of the SEC Tournament Thursday.

Closer to home, the Keenan High School basketball team rallied to beat Burke Saturday and capture the 2A state title. 

In baseball, South Carolina rallied to beat Clemson 7-5 at Fluor Field in Greenville.  The rubber match is set for Sunday at 2:00 at Carolina Field.
