The South Carolina Gamecocks looking for a little revenge opened a three game series with East Carolina on Friday.
The Pirates are the same team that ended the Gamecocks season last year. Nick Ebert returned to the Gamecocks after sitting out the first series on Academic suspension, he doubled and later scored.
The Gamecocks got an outstanding performance from Blake Cooper, Cooper only allowed four runs and two hits while striking out four.
South Carolina gets a little revenge dropping the Pirates 6-2.
