GREENVILLE, S.C. (WACH) -- A boys' high school basketball playoff game in South Carolina finished with a brawl after the buzzer.
The fight broke out Wednesday night as players gathered to shake hands following Southside's 61-55 win over Abbeville in the Class 2A playoffs.
Fans from both schools rushed the court to join the fight, overwhelming the three law enforcement officers staffing the game.
More Greenville County sheriff's deputies rushed to the gym as coaches got the teams off the court. Sheriff's Lt. Tim Ridgeway says no arrests were made because officers were most concerned with clearing the building.
Southside coach B.J. Jackson says he's worried some of his players will be suspended for the semifinal game Saturday against Keenan.
