Brewers sell 1 million tickets

MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers have sold 1 million tickets for the 2010 season, the second-earliest date the franchise achieved the milestone.

The Brewers announced the mark Monday. The only time they sold more tickets was last year when the club reached 1 million tickets sold on Jan. 19.

Milwaukee has had consecutive seasons with 3 million fans, the only two times in franchise history the Brewers have reached that plateau.
