CLEMSON, SC -- Kyle Parker threw two touchdowns and CJ Spiller ran for one as the Tigers held off Virginia 34-21 in front of 77,000 fans on Senior Day.
Spiller carried the ball 19 times for 60 yards in his final appearance at Death Valley.
Clemson had already clinched a spot in the ACC Championship game earlier in the day after North Carolina knocked off Boston College. The Tigers will face Georgia Tech in Tampa December 5th. The Yellow Jackets handed Clemson its first loss of the season in September.
Virginia kept it close with Clemson for most of the game, punting only once in the first half. UVA quarterback Jameel Sewell hit Mikell Simpson in the corner of the end zone as the second quarter ended to cut Clemson's lead to 24-21.
Andre Ellington's 5 yard run in the middle of the third quarter put the game out of reach for the Cavaliers.
Clemson closes the regular season Saturday against South Carolina in Columbia.
