ROSSBERG, Ohio (AP) — Tony Stewart and a star-studded array of drivers are taking a break from the NASCAR circuit to race in Stewart's charity contest at the dirt track he owns in Ohio.

Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman and others are scheduled to participate in the fifth annual Prelude to the Dream on Wednesday at Eldora Speedway.

Stewart won the race last year, grabbing the lead in the first lap and leading the rest of the way in the 30-lap race.

Proceeds from the race will be donated to four charities dedicated to severely injured soldiers or families of military personnel who have died serving their country.

Eldora is near the western Ohio village of Rossberg.
