LONDON (AP) — The International Olympic Committee has praised the preparations for the 2012 London Games.
Denis Oswald, head of the IOC coordination commission for London, says the panel was "deeply impressed" by the progress made since last visit a year ago.
Oswald says the games are on time and on budget.
Oswald spoke Thursday at the close of a three-day visit, which included tours of the venues and talks with the organizers.
Last year, Oswald gave London organizers "9.75 out of 10" for their work.
This time he declined to give a specific rating but says it was close to 10.
It was the panel's fourth visit since London got the games in 2005.
