(AP) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders are losing assistant coaches to the Tennessee Volunteers, where former Raiders head coach Lane Kiffin has taken over the football program.
Bucs defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin will join his son's staff. Bucs coach Jon Gruden wished the elder Kiffin well Tuesday, saying it was a good decision for the veteran NFL defensive coordinator.
But the Raiders are upset that James Cregg has decided to leave Oakland at this point in the season for a job on Kiffin's staff in Knoxville. Interim Raiders coach Tom Cable says he's disappointed Cregg would depart with two games left in the season.
