Clemson drops 4th straight

ATLANTA -- Clemson stranded 8 base runners, including 7 in scoring position Saturday in a 4-3 loss to Georgia Tech.

The Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, on an RBI by Kyle Parker that brought Mike Freeman across the plate.

Derek Dietrich broke the tie in the fourth inning with a solo home run to right-center, Thomas Nichols followed with a solo shot in the 5th.

Parker came up big again for the Tigers in the 6th with a solo home run to right tying the game again. But the Yellow Jackets put up two more runs in the seventh inning.
