USC, Clemson baseball prevail Sunday

The Gamecock baseball team rebounded from a sloppy performance Saturday to take the rubber match from Mississippi State Sunday 14-2.

Adrian Morales went 3-for-4 with a home run.  Parker Bangs and Nick Ebert also added home runs for the Gamecocks who improve to 22-6 on the season, 7-2 in the SEC.

USC faces the College of Charleston Wednesday.

Up in Clemson, the Tigers beat Boston College 14-9.  Clemson overcame an early 4-2 deficit and took the season series from the Eagles 2-1.  Clemson plays two games against Georgia Tuesday and Wednesday.
