Gamecocks will play Michigan in Outback Bowl

COLUMBIA (WACH)- The South Carolina Gamecocks (10-2) will play the Michigan Wolverines (8-4) in the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Florida January 1 it was announced Sunday. This is the Gamecocks fourth appearance in the Outback Bowl since 2001.

USC will try to win 11 games back-to-back years. Steve Spurrier said earlier Sunday that Connor Shaw will start at quarterback for the Gamecocks barring any injuries.

The game will be played at Raymond James Stadium. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-372-4267.
