COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier doesn't mind all the attention freshman running back Marcus Lattimore has been getting this week.

Spurrier said Tuesday Lattimore deserves plenty of praise after running for 182 yards in last week win over Georgia.

But Spurrier says he isn't ready to turn the No. 13 Gamecocks into a three yards and a cloud of dust offense. The coach says he will keep passing if he can.

The win also made South Carolina a fairly popular pick to win the Eastern Division and make the Southeastern Conference title game for the first time.

Spurrier says there is a lot of football to be played before he will talk about that.

South Carolina takes on Football Championship Subdivision Furman on Saturday.
