Lawing leaves USC for same position at Florida

USC defensive line coach Brad Lawing accepted job at Florida for the same position Sunday.

COLUMBIA (WACH)- South Carolina defensive line coach Brad Lawing is leaving USC to accept the same position with Florida.

According to multiple reports, Lawing cited personal reasons that were unrelated to football for his move. The Gamecocks finished with their second-straight 11 win season in 2012.

Lawing has spent 17 seasons total at USC over two stints. He had been with Steve Spurrier's staff since 2006.
