MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- The Lowcountry duo of Fort Dorchester's Daitwan Commodore and Summerville's Jarrod Tucker combined for three touchdowns in the South's 23-0 victory in the North-South All-Star high school football game Saturday.

The contest is an annual showcase for some of the top seniors in the Palmetto State.

The game was scoreless at halftime until the South got its running game untracked. Tucker opened the scoring with a 78-yard touchdown run before the South defense sacked North quarterback Kylen Binn of Blythewood in the end zone for a safety to move ahead 9-0.

Commodore sealed things for the South with two touchdown runs. He finished with 61 yards rushing and was named the South's offensive MVP. Lake View linebacker Darius Leonard had nine tackles as the South's defensive MVP.
