COLUMBIA - South Carolina junior infielder LB Dantzler is one of eight players that will compete in the 2012 TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby on Tuesday at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha. 

The event will be taped and televised nationally on CBS on Saturday, July 7 from 2-3 p.m. ET. 

Dantzler, who started all 69 games this past year at third base, hit .262 (69-for-263) for the season with 10 homers and 48 RBI.  Dantzler homered at the 2012 College World Series in the 4-1 win over Kent State.
