COLUMBIA - Former Ridge View High School star Brian Quick was drafted by the St. Louis Rams with the first pick of the second round of the NFL Draft.

Quick, a 6' 5" wide receiver from Appalachian State, is that school's highest-ever draft pick.

Quick is also ASU's all-time leading receiver.  At Ridge View, he was primarily a basketball player until his senior season, when he played football and earned a spot in the Shrine Bowl.
